A 1.8-ton class machine with a Yanmar 3-cylinder diesel, pilot joystick controls, a side-swing boom and a hydraulic thumb we installed in our shop — so it digs flush along a foundation or fence line and picks up what it digs out without you leaving the seat. At 43" wide it fits through most backyard gates.
