New Raytree REDM32 forestry drum mulcher — a 32 inch drum mulcher built for 3 to 8 ton excavators. Ships with 45mm pins, sized to drop straight onto a CAT 306 class machine.

WHY THIS MULCHER

- QUAD-STYLE MULCHING TEETH THAT ROTATE. Each tooth has four usable cutting edges. When one dulls you rotate it instead of buying a new tooth. That is 4x the life from one set of teeth — and teeth are the biggest running cost on any mulcher.
- 3 extra spare teeth included — not down waiting on parts the first time you find a rock.
- High-torque piston motor — piston, not gear. Holds cutting speed under load instead of stalling in heavy material.
- Heavy-duty drum with chain guards front and rear to keep chips and debris down.
- External grease fittings for the drum bearings — grease from outside the housing in seconds, nothing to pull apart. Drum bearings are what kill mulchers — the difference between greasing daily and skipping it.
- 12-24 GPM flow range — works across a wide span of carriers, not one exact flow rate.
- Three hoses standard: feed, return AND CASE DRAIN. The case drain is the one cheap units leave off — without it you cook the motor seals on a high-torque attachment like this. Included here.
MOUNTING — IT COMES 45mm, BUT IT IS NOT STUCK THAT WAY
Standard 45mm pin, 6 1/8 inch ear width, 10 1/4 inch pin center to center — a direct fit on a CAT 306 and similar 3-8 ton machines.
The bracket is BOLTED ON, not welded. If your machine runs something different you can unbolt the bracket and swap it — 40mm or 50mm pin, pin grabber, Bobcat X-Change, wedge lock, TAG, or Kubota quick attach. So this mulcher follows you to the next machine instead of being scrapped with the old one.
